Why OmniRaise?:
I never had the opportunity to showcase my skills and knowledge before I came to OmniRaise. I did not know what I am capable of. All I knew was only telemarketing and at one point I was afraid that I will remain as a telemarketer till the end. Hence, decided to come out of my comfort zone since I wanted to discover who I am as well. Plus, I was keen to learn and master people management skills. OmniRaise was a start-up company when I joined, so I got to see lots of things and how we started from scratch. That is why I wanted to be one of the roots which will be holding the company strong and stronger every day.
Journey in OmniRaise and Promotions:
I joined OmniRaise in Jan 2019 as a Fundraiser. I started from scratch with zero knowledge. I learnt a lot by making lots of mistakes. Well, that is what helped me to break my fear. Started in a small team of 2, became 3 and then 5 in a small CEO suite. I became a permanent staff in Oct 2019 and was given Greenpeace team and to me it was a memorable one. I did not believe in titles because I believe that I do not need any title to prove my work and I gradually managed to learn leadership skills and got the promotion of Team Leader in Aug 2020. Lots of ups and downs yet my pillar of strength is my team, my girls who are the key people who push me every day to do better and most importantly it is because of them I am strong till now. Unexpectedly, I was promoted as a Senior Team Leader in Dec 2020, but I was happier and prouder of promoting my girls as a team leader and a permanent staff more than my very own promotion. The only thing which is holding me tight here till today is the trust my manager and boss have in me. I am so grateful for my growth here and will do more for OmniRaise.
